Summary

This project will teach an agent to explore and survive in a contained but hostile environment using local search algorithms.

Usage

To use this program, download the source folder and run the maze.py file using python. For assistance using this program, use the --help flag when running.

Open Issues as of 05/21

  • Agent and zombie stops moving / attacking at particular episodes
  • Some episodes do not have zombies present
  • Agent commits suicide / glitches into lava after obtaining two diamonds

Game mechanism flaws / Stability issues

  • Zombie does not respond constantly well to the agent. This makes identical movement strings produce different outcomes in different episodes.
