Issues

This repository is designed for players to report server bugs pertaining to the Avicus Network server. We encourage collaboration in order to determine the cause of an issue. Please follow the guidelines below.

Important:

If you find an exploit or other bug that could cause major issues, please consider the following:

Privately contact Avicus Network staff about the issue.
Do not disclose the issue to the public without allowing time for our staff to fix the issue.

Submitting

Issues can be submitted at the issue tracker.

Do:

Search the issue tracker to ensure that your issue is not already reported.
Be clear in your description.
Use GitHub Flavored Markdown: it can make your issue that much more important, because you put a little more into it.
Tell steps how to reproduce the issue.

Do not:

Bump issues to receive a response (all issues are acknowledged).
Go off topic from an issue.
Re-create an issue if it was closed.
Make 'lists' of issues regarding the server, instead make a separate issue for each problem.
Attempt to attack the issues page with malicious intent such as trolling or being rude.
Add comments such as 👍, +1, "still broken" or "i like this idea"
Submit ideas here, instead discuss them with other players on the forums. Post ideas in Server Feedback. The only exception to this is if the feature has already been confirmed by the developers themselves.

Cowboy kit on elimination

There is this bug when u often use cowboy for elimination, and then suddenly when u join elimination about 4 or 6 times of using cowboy, (mabye) u are riding a horse when u join the game that part when u wait for more players to join, and i was on the border.... and i couldn't move.I also had written this on avicus forum, and that happens to me often whenever i wants to play elimination. Sometimes it was normal,. and suddenly that happens.So this was what happened to me. I don't really think that this is lag, cause i tried by restarting minecraft. It is working great now, but i think that other people could get the same thing that i had gotten.

Avicade (IN PROGRESS)

Avicade is currently bugged. Whenever I go to the lobby it says its in progress, so I join it. It has no players on it and is not restarting or rotating or anything.

FOR FUNKY (We talking $$$)

So, before, I got gold in accident, but if I buy gold again, it will be 2 gold + 1 emerald, which is equivilent to 1 diamond. Can I do that? Thanks.

I was playing the map "Necro", and every time I died I would be teleported to my spawn, to the lobby, then back to my spawn. I was on Lime team when this incident occurred,

Escape the Minotaur

If all players die, then the game continues and never ends. This leads mostly to games that last forever, until a Senior staff member joins and does /e

With sand, you can place it above and block spawn, even to where there could be no exit. Example shown above.

[Avicade] [GS] Playing In Lobby

We didn't get teleported to the GS map. We stayed in lobby, and we played there (I think it was to do with me switching from blue to red) but ANYWAYS, this happened. NOTE: Only some of blue was teleported to the map. Not all. That's why I think it's cause of me switching teams. ;3 Pictures will be comming soon. (If I remember)

Problem with loading the forums

So lately I have been having a lot of troubled loading the forums on my ipad, phone, and laptop. Usually I use chrome but it also doesn't work on other browsers. The error message is "The server sent no data" It's funny because sometimes it does it sometimes it doesn't.

Castle Adventure Bug

In castle adventure (Nebula map) it seems that i cannot break the monument with a iron picaxe. Please help!

Report Broken

When you /report someone once, it works (if in the same match). If you report someone else another time, nothing will come up and it breaks until you relog. Proof -

Forums bugs

So if I look up works by me on the forums ti says there are none, even tho there r. Also, when u look yourself up in leader board it say that the person you looked up is #1

Upgrade issue???

Well i try to upgrade from gold to emerald at shop.avicus.net, but when i press add to cart it says "you cant buy this" then sends me a link to avicus.net/shop and says i have to buy emerald on its own, which is kinda unfair, so i would like you guys to reply to me and tell me how i can upgrade from gold to emerald, my name is Ironmission, thats my ign,

This happened on Broken World. Upon breaking the monument, the scoreboard did not register the monument even after it said Lime Team won. I haven't tested it since and it may be fixed but pretty sure it doesn't always do that.

[Avicade] Minotaur / OITC Glitch

I'm only getting this issue on OITC and minotaur, idk if it happens on any other gamemodes. So, this is a scoreboard glitch. For example, I was in the lead on minotaur and when I was about to finish (No one was in front of me) it said that the minotaur won even though he was dead, and also 2nd and 3rd were some people that were behind me...

Moderator Apps

In the moderator apps section, you can change the tag of your application. For example, let's just say that your application has been DENIED, you can change the tag to ACCEPTED. That might confuse a lot of staff members.

Bugged Avicade Servers

Both avicade servers are bugged.

Map Issue

I was in the map Luar, but I saw that all player names were white, not representing their own team color. I also see that the Monument Stat Counter to the right of the screen has carried over from the last map, Senex.

OitC Win / Scoreboard Glitch

So, I've been having some trouble in the Avicade. I was playing a game, and I won. However, my name was not on the scoreboard, nor did I get any XP. Instead, the last three people to die actually won, leaving the one person alive as the loser.

This has happened to me several times, and I got screenshots in the last game I played.

So, apparently the saying, 'First is worst, second is best,' actually works here. And it shouldn't. Because as you could see, I was the last person alive, and had the most kills. So, either way that the scoreboard is judged, (I'm not sure whether it's last alive or most kills) I would've won.

So, I'd really like this to be fixed, as I'm sick of losing out every time I put my hard work into trying to survive this game.

Going far enough in Terino leads to a generated minecraft land.

If you build far enough. You can get to an area where life is generated. Happened before O.o

Spawning issues

On Minotaur, you get a bunch of players jumbled up into the same spot to run away from the minotaur. Sometimes, you collide with another player and as soon as you move, everyone gets hit into lava (Hell Bound).

[Avicade] Starting When Lower Than 8 People

So, Idk if this is only with GS or any other minigames, but there was 6 players out of 8, and the timer was starting, even though there were too little people. There were only 2 emeralds (me and this other guy) and 4 other newbs that got no rank. :D ANYWAYS, that is the bug.

[Snake] Sheep Line

Around Snake Size 68, you do not move in a straight line anymore and you are moved around without ability to control your sheep.

[Avicade] GS Dyeing when game starts

I tihnk funky knows this already, but I just want to bring it up. Sometimes, right when you teleport to the GS arena, you die.

[Web] Profile Editing has pure HTML

I miss the old formatting with the posts that you could use with images, bolding, and all kinds of stuff rather than just using pure HTML to do our profiles. Can you please fix it / bring it back? Thanks.

(It was much easier and better with the old system)

[Avicade] Snake Lag

In the new Avicade mini-games, I've been experiencing some lag. Well, I fixed that cause apparently it was my WIFI , but I've seen that a lot of people (Including me) still lag in the minigame snake. The bug is, when I start the game, the sheep keep pushing me until I get stuck in the wall and kill myself. I would love it if you could fix this bug.

Server Issues (=Servers Down=)

ALOT KNOW WHAT I AM TALKING ABOUT, PEOPLE BLAMING MODS THAT THEY NOT DOING THEIR WORK.

Right now, it's pretty bad and I was spawnkilled every time I spawned 2 matches on different servers in a row. Compared to most players, this happens actually pretty often. I think having this file would be of help:

Objective Counter

Add a leaderboard consisting of objectives in various games...

Nebula monuments
Captures in control the hill
Wins in Avicade

Minotaur Rewards 1st and 2nd place XP

When reaching the end of the race, the winner gets second place xp and first placed xp.

Implement Github Maps Repository

Used to track YML changes and fixed. Also another separate private repository for making changes to actual maps.

[OITC] Flat Land

If you spectate OITC,Either die in HC OITC,you could fly off map and see a flat world,with generated structures(Villages etc.)

[Avicade] Double The Double XP

So, after I won a game of minotaur, I got 6 XP (12 'cause I'm emerald) and then when we teleported back to lobby, I got another 6 XP (ANOTHER 12) and in total I got 12 (REALLY, 24!). Basically, I got double the regular XP I was supposed to get. :D -==-This just happened in OITC (Not HC) -==- -==- Also happened in Red Alert -==-

This has been only happening to me, IDK about other donors, but 'could be something to do with doubling the XP for Emerald?

Double percentages

This glitch, I think, sounds strange when you read it. When you type in a percentage sign or multiple percentage signs on avicus ( Tested on all avicus servers ) it basically doubles the amount you have. I know this sounds like I'm trolling, but you can test it out yourself. I believe this glitch is game changing and needs to be fixed, Thanks for reading!
