autorolltables.github.io's Issues

Suggestion: Display history as rows with expandable content

Like so: http://imgur.com/a/QdChS

The history text area can get quite long, and browsing through it to find something you want (after rolling a bunch of things) can be a bit tedious. Having these expandable rows would make it faster to filter out what we're looking for. Additionally, we could eventually have an X on the row and selecting it would delete that element.

Identical ID names returning results from incorrect table?

I'm loving the automation this tool provides, it's excellent.

I'd like to draw your attention to the behavior of some rolls that are pulling results from the wrong table, I believe due to the identical naming of the ID's in different tables.

Example: a roll on the Wilderness > Mountains table gives a result of "d20 Feature: You notice... : A prickly plant with brightly colored fruit." - this result is from the Desert table ("d20 Feature: You notice", roll #17) rather than the Mountain table.

I believe the cause of the behaviour is:
Within the Wilderness menu (roll_menu.js), both the Desert and Mountains entries refer to the same-named "wilderness/d20featureyounotice" ID entry in their "main_rolls" array.
When rolling on the Mountain table, this appears to retrieve a roll result from the first "wilderness/d20featureyounotice" ID match it locates in roll_wilderness.js, which is the table entries for the Desert features rather than the Mountain features.

Thanks again for the great tool.

Campaign Descriptions

Suggested Use: Use when you start a new campaign/world. Choose 1 off of each list, and 5 off of the adjectives list.

The data generated only supplies 1 off of the adjectives list.

German translation

has, to your knowledge, anyone ever tried to translate these tables to german?

Menubar does not work on lower resolutions

System information

Latest stable Firefox on Linux x86-64

Reproduction

  1. set resolution to 1280x800
  2. visit http://autorolltables.github.io/

Expected

I can hover the menubar items to select different tables

Actual

The #page div intersects the menubar, and is stuck on one set of tables

Workaround

Using stylish, add the following custom style:

#page {
    padding-top: 80px;
}

Translation for Brazilian Portuguese

Hey, do you mind if i translate to brazilian portuguese to be used in my website? All credits goes to you, with a link to your original site and git.

Continents display has spelling error

Continents display has the following spelling error

"d100 Domestic Plants Plants unique tot his continent include... (Roll 2d4 Times) : Corn"

should read "unique to this continent "

does this support subtables or custom percentages/ranges?

Does this support tables with subtables and custom ranges?

example custom ranges:

d6 races
1 elf
2-3 human
4-5 halfling
6 demon

or, for subtables

d6 races
1 elf --> roll on 'elf' subtable
2-3 human --> roll on 'human' subtable
4-5 halfling etc..
6 demon etc..

What in the hell?

Why is the website now so unbelievable bad? I can barely use it? Has this thing been abandoned or have I missed a website migration?
