Currently, setting node_failed to false does not do anything, whereas it should be able to be reverted.

• Add a proper logger with logging levels instead of debug env vars
• Improve logging overall

Currently, it is not possible to first use a relative_to_pod: true and then a false in a later stadium. We should allow this.

Currently, we always apply direct state. We should check what has changed, as to not override state that has been changed by planned emulation.
