bts's Issues

Update for Winter 2016 patch

The recent patch changed a few things in TradeOverview.lua. From the looks of it does not seem anything major, so it should be done quickly.

"Their Benefits" Visual Not Properly Updating

screenshot 2017-01-09 19 59 45
In this screen shot I had selected Delhi which updated the "their benefits" section to display the two gold, but when I went to click on another route the gold icon didn't disappear, so that you can still see it behind the no benefits from route text.

I was using a new install of CQUI as of Jan 9th.

Trade Turn tooltip ambiguity

From @vttale here

Mouseover tooltips for "If started, route will complete in" -- thank you so much for improving on the default game here! -- are off. I can't quite figure out how the number was derived, though.

For example, I've got one route here which is 38 tiles, and it correctly observes "trips to destination: 1". If then says it would complete in 168 turns. OH WAIT I just figured out where the confusion is, and how it could be addressed. It stems from the clock icon simultaneously being used to mean both relative time and absolute time.

See, I'm on turn 92. A route that completes in 76 turns would end on turn 168. I recommend for clarity a tooltip that doesn't use the icons and instead reads like:

Trade Route distance: 38 hexes
Trips to destination: 1
If started, route will complete in 76 turns on turn 168

That would be totally unambiguous.

Repeat Route does not work in some cases

Some users have reported that the repeat route does not work for them. This is a hard one to diagnose, since I don't know how to recreate this bug reliably. Still as a major feature of this mod, I need to address this.

Focus path on only route to be created

When selecting a destination city for a new route, the path displayed should change to only the one for the route, hiding all of the other potential routes to other cities.

Trade Route related wonders info

From @vttale here

It's easy to forget what routes might have a boost, particularly if loading up a saved game. It'd be really nice if the transfer UI indicated where a trader might get a particular advantage. For example, I've got Great Zimbabwe, so the icon for that next to the city name in the transfer panel would be great.

Window doesn't scroll when attempting to transfer a trader

First off... love the mod.

There is a small bug when there is a large number of owned cities and you attempt to transfer a trader unit to another city where the list of cities does not scroll. I originally found the issue using the current CQUI mod but the same problem exists in BTS from the Workshop. I've attached a couple screen shots that illustrate the problem.

Summer Patch Update

All issues related to the recent summer patch can be posted here. I will be working on implementing the new changes brought about by this patch.

Feature request: "total yield score" for route

I'd like a sort option, in addition to individual yields, for a total yield score. In my mind what I normally do is just sum everything but take gold at 1/4th rate. That is, a route that gives 1 bulb, 1 hammer, 1 faith and 4 gold is worth a total of 4 points.

Another idea, maybe yield-per-total-turns? Like a total yield score of 10 that takes 50 turns seems somewhat less interesting to me than one that is only a score of 8 but is done in 20 turns.
