iPhone 4 browser testing Problems
Hi @thomasjbradley,
I finished my website, tested it and checked off all the things on the Launch checklist. Everything checks out except when I tested my website on my iPhone 4. The space around my social media icons are enormous, and my donut.jpg doesn't show up. Doesn't matter what browser I check it in... Chrome, Safari or Opera. Maybe it has something to do with the svgs in the html or my media queries? I looked in the tutorials and couldn't find anything. Could you take a look? My project is ready to be handed in. It's just this one problem.
Thank you :)
HTML validation
hey lady, your html validation needs some help with errors.
Safari 7
I love your photo and absolutely love the hover effect you have on your icons! The only thing that I'm not sure if you did on purpose or not, but just in case, is that your icons at a smaller screen size (once they split into two rows of three) are very spaced apart. Other then that it looks great!
Safari 6.0.5 Issue
Your social media icons are all over the place!
Social Media Icons out of place?
Hey Ash!
Beauty of a site, but I did notice the icons being a little off. When in the smaller viewports, the facebook and instagram logo are pushing the title and creating space.
Chrome Browser Testing
At full desktop size your portrait image is a bit pixelated, I think if you save it again at a higher quality setting that should fix it.
Help with adjustments
Hey @thomasjbradley,
I was wondering if you could give me a hint as to how I could go about coding for the heading part of my website. So, originally I had my display picture (.dp) in a div with my h1 and donut picture. I made my .dp display: absolute and adjusted the position coordinates, but I was having issues having my .intro div flowing with the picture. I figured it out when I started my media queries. The .dp flows over top of the text in my .intro and I have to readjust the size of the .dp and the padding on the p in the .intro every 10 or 15px. It's a bit ridiculous. But I don't know how to have the .dp appear overtop of the bottom of the donut picture and top of the .intro without constantly messing with the p in the .intro as the screen size increases... ideally, I think the .dp needs to be in the .intro div so that the spacing between it and the intro p stay the same, but then I can't figure out how to float the .dp about the top of the .intro...
Any idea on how I can work around this?
