Introduction
PyQt applet to monitor an OVH Virtual Private Server.
It would be nice to reimplement it using Qt5 QML.
The source code is licensed under GPL V3.
Installation
Dependencies
monitor-server requires the following dependencies:
- Python 2.7
- PyQt 4.9
- python-ovh
Installation from PyPi Repository
monitor-server is made available on the PyPI repository at https://pypi.python.org/pypi/monitor-server
Run this command to install the last release:
pip install monitor-server
Installation from Source
The monitor-server source code is hosted at https://github.com/FabriceSalvaire/monitor-server
To clone the Git repository, run this command in a terminal:
git clone [email protected]:FabriceSalvaire/monitor-server.git
Then to build and install monitor-server run these commands:
python setup.py build
python setup.py install
Testing
Set the terminal environment using:
source setenv.sh
Setup a ~/.ovh.conf file, see https://github.com/ovh/python-ovh#configuration.
then run this command to get an API key:
ovh-api/get-ovh-consumer-key
and launch the applet:
bin/monitor-server
