from approvaltests.net.
@draptik where is rider installed on your linux machine? as in path to the exe?
from approvaltests.net.
$ ls -al `which rider`
lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 29 Feb 26 18:27 /usr/bin/rider -> /usr/share/rider/bin/rider.sh
from approvaltests.net.
can u try adding an explicit reference to https://www.nuget.org/packages/DiffEngine/6.6.0-beta.2 and see if rider works?
from approvaltests.net.
and can u tell me where vscode is installed?
from approvaltests.net.
Cool: 5.4.7-beta1 opens a diff viewer when invoked from rider now (without adding an explicit reference to DiffEngine)!
And to answer your previous question about VSCode:
ls -alh `which code`
lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 32 Mar 17 16:45 /usr/bin/code -> /opt/visual-studio-code/bin/code
from approvaltests.net.
does vs code work as well?
from approvaltests.net.
Yes: Running .NET: Run Tests in Context
opens the diff view in vscode.
Also: CLI dotnet test
opens the diff view in vscode.
Thanks for the linux support!
