Support display and playback of local trailers

When scrolling/jumping through movies/shows lists, at intermittent times the wrong backdrop is displayed, scrolling up/down fixes the issue.

Sometimes when i go into my TvShows, it will show that there is a new episode but when i click on the season, it only shows up to the last episode i watched.
example:

Family guy downloaded s12e14, Addon shows Season 12 has 14 eps and when i go in i only see up to 13.

I tried restarting, filter to show unwatched and nothing works

This is with latest server release (i use Beta as threshold) and latest addon release.

Playlists read and creation

Support all of the server side filter options available for items.

Allow IsFavorite filter to be persistent so that when we start the plugin we dont alays have to filter to favorites as and extra step

A button in the context dialog for opening another dialog with options to set watched state (also reset resume position with this), like, dislike, add to favouites (#43), add to playlist (#42).

Allow setting a default user on startup

Implement basis support for navigating and listening to Music items.

We now support the xbmc .disc convention that allows users to create dummy items on the server.

the idea is when the user presses play, we tell them to please insert the disc. You can either offer this, or just not make it playable at all.

I went from the MePo home page and jumped direct to TVshows-All.

Without pressing anything, it listed all the series, but the backdrop for the first series is wrong, the backdrop is from a movie I previously selected.

Add basic support for people in the available collection views

When going from one view/window to another, for a short/brief period, the previous/incorrect backdrop is displayed. The correct/new backdrop is shown after a second or so.

This is on a single seat i7 with SSD - So the hardware/performance should be ok.

Support browsing boxsets

Not sure if this is by design, but when performing a new search, you have to delete the text which is initially in the input box. Is it possible to have it as selected (highlighted) text, so when you start to type it removes the initial text? Or even as an empty input box :-)

Support server side sorting

Exception being thrown results in popup in MediaPortal.

The first unwatched episode should be selected in series list.

As above, if there is no actor image, then the last valid displayed image is kept on screen.

Add more views for music collection

Have the client automatically reconnect to the Media Browser server after a restart or other network problems. Enable rediscover and reconnect both event based and retry timer.

Add a setting to set the mediabrowser server manually

UserViews are presented like folders, that means if you go into a single UserView of movies or tvshows
there is no sub category like "Recently Added", "Latest Unwatched", "Genre" and "People"...
Also collections within the movies have the Type "folder" instead of "BoxSet" which makes it harder to define specific visible states in a MP skin.

Make the Smart Images like
"MediaBrowser.Image.Series.Banner"
also available for the description tag of the different facades.

Show number of watched and unwatched items next to show title instead of release year (current setup).

The "Director" field/label is not correctly populated.

Instead of displaying the director of the movie, it displays ".Directing.List"

Make the items in a smart facade clickable

Create official skin for Titan

I get "unable to play" when I try to play any files. These files all play fine from Videos or TV Series. Any idea what the problem might be?

Let me know what other information might be helpful.

BTW, love the whole mediabrowser ecosystem. Thanks for contributing to it.

Only works in listcontrol

When selecting Random Movie from the context menu, the background and synopsis are correct, but the cover is the last one that was displayed.

Add paging support to allow large collections to load quickly. Items per page should be a default client setting and a filter option.

If item.PlayAccess != Full, there should be no play buttons presented, and whatever keyboard shortcuts we have to play should also not respond.

Support display of chapters in details view and ability to start playback from the chapter position.

Add initial search support

MePo is configured to jump direct to movies-all and tvshows-all from the home page - this works a treat. But the issue is when I press back/previous on the remote, I would have hoped it would have gone back to the screen I jumped direct to (eg movies-all), but instead it jumps back through all the previous MB plugin selections and screens (so if I have been clicking/selecting movies/shows in the plugin, the previous/back button jumps me to their selection as opposed to return me back out the plugin, so its not a "clean" one or two click to get back to the home screen

Currently it jumps back to the "root" view if press "back" from detail view.

When user changes layout it should be automatically remember for the next time the user is in that view.

launching a video from MBS to Mediaportal will cause MP to hang on a blank screen. This didnt happen on the last version.

Dont know if its the addon in combination with the latest server update.

Once the plugin gets more mature add the MPEI to the MP repository and allow for extension updates.

Support local and remote resume

If you use a skin parameter like
{Type:"View", Id:"root-movies"}
as a result you get movies, music and tvshows mixed together.

Lists are built dynamically, as you near the bottom of the list, more data is requested to build the list.

It is possible to both scroll/jump to the bottom of the list before more data has been requested/received - therefore making the user go back to the top of the initially requested list, when in fact they want to keep scrolling down through more data

This gives a frustrating/poor user experience.

If have scrolled down to a movie beginning with S (eg Superman), selected it to view its details, and then press previous to go back to the list, I am returned to the top of the list and not to the last position (eg the Superman film)
