Aim of the Project

To predict the cost of medical insurance based on features such as age, bmi

Using Ml models such as random forest regressor for the prediction

Create the Backend using the Flask Framework.

Project Setup

• First, clone the repository by using git clone command.
• Create the virtual environment for the project.

$ conda create -n myenv python

• Install the required packages using requirements.txt inside the environemnt using pip.

$ pip install -r requirements.txt

• run the app.py as python app.py
• The Application will then be hosted at 127.0.0.1:5000

Possible Improvements

• Deploy the application on the cloud
• Improve the frontend UI
