If TeamCity is not deployed on the context root the CSS style sheet paths will
not include the
context path and hence not be loaded.
A patch is attached to include the request context path and hence resolve this
issue.
And thank you for your work on this plug-in - it is much appreciated!

Let the administrator configure a suffix to be appended to all portrait URLs.
This will make it easier to set the size of all images and default image
type when portraits are stored on Gravatar.
Or... have a portrait-url-template that is expanded with whatever is in the
portrait attribute for each user.

Now that users can (have to) configure their image URLs, I think it makes sense
that an admin can configure a server-wide default to use gravatar. This uses
the md5 of the user's email address.
Ex:
http://www.gravatar.com/avatar/f04729a75b927c0d0657b92857c0482a?s=50&d=identicon
I used to just set this in main-config for everyone.

We use piazza a lot, but many of our commit messages contain line breaks
(for listing details etc).
These line breaks are not properly shown in the piazza screen, making the
commit message harder to read.
Attached patch simply wraps the message into <pre>, but one could propably
also just replace line breaks with <br/> or so.

Currently the user is only read from the commit messages, as per the
documentation at
http://code.google.com/p/team-piazza/wiki/ConfiguringTeamPortraits.
Requiring the user to add their username is hard to enforce, and (IMHO) seems
like something that a tool like Team Piazza should be dictating. The user that
checked in the change is already part of the commit metadata, Team Piazza
should pick that up -- and optionally also parse usernames from the commit
message to retain existing functionality.
This way multiple additional workflows are allowed:
* No users entering commit messages
* Pair programming, with one user committing and making a comment that it was also checked by a second user
In addition to the currently-expected methods by team piazza:
* Where the user doing the commit types their name in the commit message
* Pair programming, where both users put their name in the commit message (the userid as part of the commit will simply be a duplicate)
The userid from the commit message should be displayed before the commit
message itself, eg:

It would be nice to have a more intelligent dashboard. The way we currently use
Team-Piazza is to have a html page hosted on our internal web server which has
an iFrame for each of the projects that we are interested in. The problem with
this the limited real estate on the monitor.
It would be nice if Team-Piazza allowed the creation of Dashboards for
different teams which could have projects associated with it. The dashboard
could act like the following:
1 - Whilst all the projects are green Team-Piazza could just rotate through the
projects
2 - When something is building it switches to a view showing the currently
building project(s)
3 - If something has failed it is shown at the top of the list of things in
progress and the view does not switch back to the project rotation until the
build(s) is fixed.

In the project view, let the user ignore some builds in the view by turning
them off in their preferences.
To take advantage of this, the team would have to create a user just for
showing piazza screens, but this is probably a good thing because it can be
given reduced permissions.

Hi
We are using git, and the radiator is displaying incorrect persons in the wall.
For some reason some users do not show at all and they are replaced by other
users that have not commits for many years.
we are using this kind of approach on git commits:
Author: My Name <[email protected]>
Date: 33 minutes ago (18/12/2013 10:20:14)
Committer: unknown <[email protected]>
Commit hash: 069dc780e3192db34717a698cf8bfbbbaead9314
Parent(s): d14eb7f739
TT-97508 Commit message
Contained in no branch
Contained in no tag
Any pointers that i can use to track the issue?
Thanks in advance
Br,
Jorge Costa

It'd be nice to have a page that would show whether the server as a whole
is green, yellow (building) or red.
We'd like to use this as a high-level status indicator - communal monitor
in the office kind of thing. If it goes red, we know to look at the server
to see what's wrong - or perhaps this page could show currently-red
build-configs grouped by project.

Success or failure is indicated by a red or green background. This is not
very helpful for people who are red/green colorblind.

Show an (amusing) picture if a regex pattern is found in the commit
message. E.g. on our project we show a picture of a Pot Noodle if the
commit comment includes the terms "refactor", "refactored" or "refactoring".
This can currently be done in an inconvenient way by defining a user with
lots of nicknames.
This might be an alternative to badges (issue 19).

Use the committers' user ids as well as parsing the commit messages to find
nicknames to map to user portraits
