This is a result of abusing $() and should be easy to fix.

Simplecta does not allow subscription to non-UTF-8 feeds. An example is http://csdl.computer.org/rss/security.xml.

The main site I use for political cartoons doesn't tell you what the RSS feeds are anymore and it's been so long that I've forgotten. I'd like to be able to view the URLs associated with each of the feeds I'm subscribed to, but currently Simplecta doesn't allow me to see them. If I could, I could copy-and-paste the one for an old cartoon and modify it to subscribe to the new one.

I am working with other group members in Professor Schaffer’s capstone class for the simplecta app. Currently, if I subscribe an RSS feed in the Atom feed subscription field, it subscribes to the feed but doesn’t show the title of the subscribed feed. All i see is (unsubscribe) which doesn’t help with identifying the specific feed especially since we plan on using the feed titles in our app design. However, It shows the title if i subscribe to the RSS feed field.

Kindly check if it can possibly be fixed.
