About me

Certified school drop out.

I dropped out of school when I was 15. The current scholar system was not something that I could spend any more time in. I got a job at a local company which suited me perfectly and gives me a lot of possibilities to expand my knowledge and keep learning.

Working to make the internet a better and more secure place one step at a time.

I believe web applications are the future and will replace our desktop programs and mobile apps, that’s why they should be usable by everyone and everywhere no matter the device, screen size and speed. While they provide these pros, they should also be secure and privacy oriented.

Share image files

I use NeoVIM and want to change the name to NeoVIM, but none of the images are on the repo. Uploading them would make the job of making your own app for customization purposes way easier.

Installation not friendly for beginners

Hi,

I'm on Mac and I am a beginner. The installation is kind of confusing for me please add screenshots of how you install.

No game icon

There is no game icon in Rich Presence, unlike in any other game.

It is not working for me?

I am editing a CPP file. In discord, it looks like this:

Using :UpdatePresence only shows that I'm using Vim.
I have python3 with vim.

'Elapsed' Info Accumulates

Elapsed information in Discord seems to be accumulating instead of resetting every time you open a file with vim.

Quitting vim, followed by opening a new file will still continue the elapsed time.

Using a vanilla .vimrc, vim-plug and only this plugin loaded will still cause the issue. The accumulated time still appears even after a reboot.

EDIT : It seems that according to Discord startTimestamp uses an integer, and Python's time() outputs as a float. Rounding off like start_time = round(time.time()) actually did the trick. I'm not sure whether other people are experiencing this but I just submitted a pull request just in case.
