The documentation for the set
method was misleading. I've just fixed it.
set
method updates number of consumed points in the current duration, but it doesn't change points
configuration of a limiter.
You could change points
for the limiter like this graphQLLimiter.points = 4
. It would affect all keys.
If you need that on the level of key, meaning different settings by key, you should approach it differently.
You could have rate limiter with points = 1000
, consume as usual, but compare res.consumedPoints
with any dynamic number you wish and reject when necessary.
