What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.Upload a video through the YTDL interface and submit it to a playlist.
2.Delete video from YouTube website on the uploader's channel.
3.Try to reject it from pending status through YTDL interface
What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I get a message saying that the video could not be added to the "rejected"
playlist because it cannot find the video. I have to be honest, this isn't
entirely unexpected but I wanted to try this scenario out before we a website
user does it.
What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?

We're trying to create a user submitted video feature for our website that will
allow us to collect videos from our user base and then select the best ones to
be used on our page. Our problem is that it seems only the people logged in
with our company gmail account can load videos to our youtube account. Even
then, the uploading is inconsistent.
We would like for them to come into our feed, private, so that we can mark the
ones we'd like to share as public, which would then post on our page.
Is there someone that can help us with this?

And have several accounts for testing purposes. Everytime we try uploading the

Your account cannot upload videos. Please visit

I embedded the submission code here
http://audio.thedelimagazine.com/submit-your-guitar-pedal-video-review/
Tried to submit a video but it's not showing in the Pending area ( I see 0
submissions) - it was my own video but it's not in that playlist.
This is the code I have embedded:

Is there any way to get notifications that there are pending submissions
without logging into the admin interface? Could there be an e-mail alert?

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. go to http://www.globalfeed.org/participate.html
2. log in to the YT-DL widget
3. click on upload via web cam
What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I expect to get a prompt from Youtube asking for my permission to make my web
cam accessible. Then I expect to see the web cam go live and my face on the
widget's screen and the option to record. In stead I click use web cam in the
middle of the screen and get no response or activity.
What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
OS: OSX 10.8.2,
Browser: Chrome Version 28.0.1500.71
YT-DL HTML CODE: <iframe width="420" height="500"
src="http://ytdirectlite.appspot.com/static-min/index.html#playlist=PLhh0Sal3kVU

YT-DL Version
Please provide any additional information below.
It used to work just fine. I started to notice the erratic behavior / bug with
in the last 3 weeks. In the beginning I would get the prompt asking for web cam
access but then it would stall at that point. But now I don't even get that.
Also, I noticed this started to happen just after the new playlist view was
added to the playlist widget.

Everything works except video submission upon file upload.
1. User enters file name, description, category and upload video file.
2. User waits.
3. The file gets uploaded to the user's youtube account and there is a message
"your video has been successfully submitted."
4. The link to the video works.
The Problem: The video is NOT submitted for moderation despite being uploaded.
The user needs to go to "Your YouTube Videos" and submit the newly updated
video for the video to appear.
This is not OK, UX-wise.
Can the video be submitted for moderation upon upload?
Thank you.

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.log into admin panel
2.view pending
3.no videos appear. I have uploaded videos personally, received submissions
from others, nothing has worked.
What is the expected output? What do you see instead? an empty admin panel with
no "pending" videos. When i log into the youtube account that made the test
upload, I can see the tag that the submission widget added on the video, but
the admin panel is not loading the videos into the admin area.

I am trying to use YouTube Direct Lite to allow my site visitors to upload
videos directly to YouTube from my website. I also want to keep a list of the
videos they have uploaded to YouTube in their account on my site AND embed that
video into a node.
Can I grab the id of the uploaded video and create the node on my website with
the embedded video on the fly?
Basically, after they finish uploading their video I want to take the ID,
generate a node (using Drupal) embed the new video and let them continue with
adding their video to a category on my website (we have many more options than
YouTube offers for categories.)
At this time I don't need anything other than the embed URL so I'm thinking
that I can do this with YouTube Direct Lite rather than having to go the full
YouTube Direct route.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks, K

Ok, one of our questions was answered. Now, how about the others? We're having
trouble with users loading videos on our page consistently. For instance,
someone uploaded a video this morning on our page that showed up on their
personal account but didn't come to us like was intended. There seems to be no
rhyme or reason for this so we're just looking for clarification.
