Трамвай №5 е приложение за проверка на времената на пристигане на градския транспорт в София в реално време.

Създадено е с идея да предложи на потребителите open source алтернатива за проверка на градския транспорт, която да работи на всички мобилни платформи. Без реклами, без събиране на данни.

Поддържани операционни системи

• Android
• Windows 10
• Windows 10 Mobile (до версия 3.0)

При необходимост може да се добави поддръжка за iOS.

Функционалности:

• Карта, чрез която могат да бъдат намерени и проверени всички спирки в град София
• Търсене на спирка по име/номер
• Показване на спирки около потребителя при включено местоположение
• Запазване на спирка в любими
• История на търсенията

License

• Данните за пристиганията в реално време са собственост на Център за градска мобилност.
• Картите, които се използват са безплатни, open source и предоставени от OpenStreetMap

Slow map loading.

Current Behavior

The map is loaded after few seconds

Expected Behavior

The map is loaded after few miliseconds.

Steps to Reproduce

Open the application

Update Through App Itself

Right now you get notification when a new version is released and have to manually download it/assign.

• Have a button from the notification to update the app without more manual work;
• Have a button from the app itself to check for update and download it/install if there is one;
• Show progress in the app or as notification of the installation process;

You can use app storage to download new version locally and install from there. App probably will need to request permission to install other apps.

No Info About Metro

As of now there is info about trams and buses, but not for the metro (underground), one of the most popular transport in Sofia. It would be very useful if app shows timing of metro in similar way.

Listing Transport Stops

Sometimes I find need to check specific transport where it goes. It's a big request but it will be very helpful to:

• See list of all stops for specific/faviourites transports;
• See specific transport where does it go on the map;
• Be able to find transport to a specific place (very interesting task in my opinion);

Dark Mode For AMOLED

Most modern phones uses AMOLED display, which consume less battery when parts of screen are darker/completly black.
Suggestion is to add dark theme similar to most popular apps (check Google apps for example).

• Have option for selecting theme, light or dark, or let the system decide;
• Separate theming of the UI from the map itself. I prefer brighter map for better visiblity;
