Users should not be allowed to rate items which will be served in the future. Optionally, they may also be restricted from rating items they had eaten before a couple of days.

The title says it all.

When I attempt to open an issue, I simply get

Could not create issue....

Each list-item in the issues screen shows the "oldness" of the issue. By "oldness" I mean a phrase describing when the issue was created like "Today", "Yesterday", "1 day ago" and so on.

The "oldness" shown by all the list-items is wrong.

Currently, the app simply displays the result of calling toString on the Exceptions. Common Exceptions must be handled separately to make the error messages clearer.

When menu screen is opened for the first time, it shows menu for the first date instead of the current date. This is bad UX.

These two are critical for ensuring that the app is working well and to take action if it isn't.

The app simply stores the user's ratings locally but never pushes them to the server. This pretty much defeats the entire point of having ratings.

This is because the login screen is shown on top of the home screen. The user has to be blocked from being able to do this.

Currently, the order is exactly the opposite.

The app seriously needs to have push notifications before it's launch.

This is especially critical for the menu and notices screen where it appears as if they couldn't be loaded properly.

Tab-bars(in grubs and issues screen) sort of indicate that the screen has finished loading and there is no content for it to display.

This needlessly increases the app size and should definitely be fixed before app launch. TinyPNG can be used to compress the assets.

Currently, on Android, the edge effect's color is blue. The color is not at all consistent with the rest of the app's theme and can be either removed or changed.

Edge effect is the wavy thing which appears when you hit the scroll limit.

Currently, snack-bars are shown for small errors like attempting to rate items served on future days and failing to connect to the server for flagging/up-voting issues. That's fine.

But for more serious errors, the app simply displays a poorly formatted error message. No retry button is shown which makes it impossible to take any action.
