What does your vimrc look like?
Here is my configuration:
set fileencodings=utf-8,gb2312,gb18030,gbk,ucs-bom,cp936,latin1
set enc=utf8
set fencs=utf8,gbk,gb2312,gb18030
In order to solve Chinese garbled,I just did the above configuration.
from vim-matchup.
I'm getting the same error with Debian 9.5's vim, and with SpaceVIM enabled.
The error is:
Error detected while processing /home/steamedfish/.cache/vimfiles/repos/github.com/andymass/vim-matchup/plugin/matchup.vim:
line 32:
match-up must be loaded before matchit
Press ENTER or type command to continue
I don't get this error on my Mac, with same SpaceVIM config
I cannot reproduce the error on Debian without SpaceVIM, and with the following vimrc:
set nocompatible
call plug#begin('~/.vim/plugged')
Plug 'tmhedberg/matchit'
Plug 'andymass/vim-matchup'
this is my Debian's vim version, witch I'm getting the error:

Please try the latest update 9c0c8e0
Note, that it is unnecessary to load matchit (for example, tmhedberg/matchit in the vimrc @SteamedFish).

It works now, thank you.

I know it's unnecessary. I thought that loading matchit first might reproduce the error 😄.
