Load a editable polygon

This is great! It helped me a lot, thank you! Does someone have tips on how to load a editable polygon into this?
It seems like "google.maps.event.addListener(drawingManager, 'overlaycomplete'" only sees the newly added polygon and not the one that I've added from inside the drawMap.js script.

It would be complete if you can load a polygon from (let say) a database and edit it and save it again.
But I've tried a lot, but could not get the <div id="info".. to show the polygon that was loaded from inside the drawMap.js.
