Hey there,
Does the program you've written take inputs of different resolution?
Do you print off an image on paper and then load it in?
I see the audio_o folder, sounds so cool!

I'd thought I'd share a similar project I've come across: https://github.com/SamusAranX/Go-MusicImage
But I think this is lossless opposed to lossy. I think im after lossy...if that means different resolutions or crappier images of the original image can still create sound.
Is the format a circular image like this one?
Also, is there a license for your project if I'd like to try it out?
Is it possible to write a how-to for people like myself who have never used Lua?
