When clicking to the "Apply changes" button then starting loading something and appearing again the same button.

[Feature Request]: Distribute flatpakref file for easier install

What the feature is suppose to do

A .flatpakref file contains a reference to a Flatpak on a repository, and allows for adding all required repositories in one go. The user experience of a .flatpakref is that it is opened by the app store (GNOME Software, Discover) as the "about page" for the application.

Describe the reason behind the request

This is simpler than the commands listed, and would allow the flatpak to be listed in the Releases page.

Oh, I almost forgot: a flatpakref can contain a signing key, which makes installing the program safer.

[Issue]: Disk out of space issue when unpacking the game data

Describe the issue

When I download the game in the launcher, if the disk is out of space during the unpacking process, it gets stuck without extra info, so I notice the disk is out of space and clean some files, and resume, the launcher will not resume, I kill the launcher and reopen it, it downloads the audio data directly (click the Update button) without unpacking the game zip file, if the disk is out of space again during unpacking the audio zip file, the issue will happen again.

[Issue]: Using FPS Unlocker shows "Crucial domains are not blocked. Please re-run the patch script."

When trying to launch I got the following error:
/usr/lib/an-anime-game-launcher-bin/an-anime-game-launcher: symbol lookup error: /usr/lib/libwebkit2gtk-4.0.so.37: undefined symbol: g_power_profile_monitor_dup_default

I've tried reinstalling an-anime-game-launcher-bin, an-anime-game-launcher-git AUR package, and AppImage release but all of them won't run with the exact same error.

It was running fine yesterday. The only thing I did was uninstalling gnome package group, but I don't know if it is related or not. Did a google search and thought that I needed to do full system upgrade, but to no avail.

[Issue]: Doesn't work after added to Steam Libarary

Describe the issue

The launcher works well in Desktop mode.
However, after adding it to Steam Library, it doesn't work neither start through desktop mode steam or gaming mode steam.
The launcher could start, but after pressing start the game, the launcher disappear. Few seconds later, the launcher is back but game hasn't been started.

I have tried reapply the patch and fix game, but doesn't work.

[Issue]: Insufficient storage space problem

I am using the launcher on Steam deck. I installed it following the guide.
I changed the folders-game option in the config.yaml file to be "/home/deck/.var/app/com.gitlab.KRypt0n_.an-anime-game-launcher/data/Genshin Impact". (removing the "driver_c/Program Files" part)
The game installs and starts successfully.

When it pulls the in-game updates, the game shows an error box saying: "Insufficient storage space. Please ensure sufficient space and try again. Code:-9907"
The download progress bar shows "0.27% 26.86 MB / 9883.41 MB".

My device still has 200+GB available space.

[Issue]: Mouse cursor invisible issue when switching workspaces if running the game

I use i3, (using picom or not doesn't matter here), when I play the fullscreen game in i3's another workspace, no mouse cursor visible most of the time since I use xbox wireless controller, if I switch focus to other program such as web browser in another workspace, the mouse cursor is invisible, I have to do something to the focused window to make the mouse cursor visible again such as switching focus to a third workspace where GI is not in and switching focus back, or togging the focused window floating on and off.

This issue is annoying since I do this a lot like switching focus to the web browser searching for something.

Reproduction Steps

I'm not sure other people can reproduction this.

Just asking if other people have this issue as well or know how to fix it. Thanks.

It's the second time that i reinstall the game and after patching it tells me that the server aren't blocked. So i go to check if they are and they are but for some reason it doesn't work. I tried to manually patch it and it worked so i asked on discord and thy sent me some other servers to block and after doing that the game works fine. I have the fps unlocked.

And my other issue is that if i start the game with vkbasalt it opens but it immediately crashes and i need to go in system monitoy and stop it from there. Without vkbasalt it works fine

[Issue]: Launcher getting stuck when trying to download game's files while repairing them

Hi, some days ago I've tried repairing game's files through the launcher, but after every installation analysis, while trying to download the mismatched files, the download hangs at an arbitrary percentage (like 5%, 20%, 75% or so). After some attemps (leave it downloading overnight and then half a day) I eventually gave up and looked the mismatched files' list and the download link in launcher's log, and successfully repaired the game downloading the files through wget -x -nH -i <a file with the download path + file path + filename for each mismatched one> and then rsync -a <ScatteredFiles subfolder> <Game path>.

Note: game got corrupted after the launcher tried to unpack the 3.4 update without enough space on SSD (I really didn't realize the storage's small free space before updating, and moved entire game's folder to another disk once I noticed, but soon it started getting stuck at a white screen once initialized). The disk had free storage space when attempting to download the mismatched files (~70 GB).

Note: tried it with and without the patch applied.

Note: launcher version 2.4.4 (AppImage).

Hello there,

I can't get my Xbox controller showing or working in Genshin Impact game while using Gentoo and the launcher (AppImage), have been using the launcher for over a month on Debian and I was able to play the game with no problems using my controller, but when I tried to use it on Gentoo the game settings only shows the "Keyboard" options.

My controller (/dev/js0) shows output while I do cat /dev/js0, and I can see the input and configure it under Plasma's control panel "Game Controllers" option. I tried to mess with Xorg drivers and tried enabling USE="udev" and INPUT_DEVICES="libinput joystick" but got no success.

No useful logs are provided when trying to run the AppImage through the terminal, neither enabling "Use Terminal" option, but I can dump them if neccessary.

I changed values in ~/.local/share/honkers-launcher/config.json from .local/share thingy to another one and created prefix there before. But when launcher starts, it just replaces values from the config to its own. Ok then, I made config read-only and it still refuses to work. Seems like launcher has hard coded paths in it and config does nothing to it by itself.

How can I change wineprefix's path? Using buttons in launcher always gives an error 'Failed to create wine prefix' (os error 2).

I've beening play the server: global version for quite some time, it works fine, then I changed server: global to server: cn in ~/.local/share/anime-game-launcher/config.yaml and started the launcher, the launcher redownloaded and repatched the game and the game works fine using my cn account.

After a few hours of playing the server: cn version, I decided to switch back to server: global so I edited the config file, start the launcher, and launcher doesn't redownload/repatch the game, and the game launched is still "server: cn" version.

FYI: revert patch or re-apply patch won't work in setting, the game won't be launched in the end using the Launch button, I managed to delete the ~/.local/share/anime-game-launcher directory and do the process to download/patch the game from the first start.
