It looks that --wait
is not supported in 2.8.0. dbmate wait
has to be used instead. It works :)

@frafra --wait
is a global option, so you could do dbmate --wait up
which will wait for the server to accept your connection and then create the database and apply migrations. dbmate wait
just waits for the server to accept your connection then returns, doing nothing more.
Use whichever mechanism suits your needs, but it sounds like this answers your question so I'll go ahead and close this issue.
