I am trying to get these plugins to work on the online freeboard.io but it doesn't seem to ever update. The way I did this was:
That all looks great, but it never claims to update: "Last Updated: never"
Any ideas what I'm doing wrong? Do I also have to enter something into the MQTT client?
I'm facing a big problem when try to connect to an MQTT broker (CloutMQTT) via secure websocket.
CloudMQTT would accept max 5 concurrent connections and Freeboard seems to open more than 5 (simultaneous) connection to this broker; in this way the broker definitively deny the connection.

How to resolve this issue?
Hi!
I was trying to use your plugin with the online version of freeboard.io. The speps I've done are quite easy:
Is anything I could do to let it works?
Thank you very much for your time.

A remote controller publishes three topics to mosquitto broker: /board/temperature, /board/potentiometer, /board/soundlevel.
In "the topic to subscribe to" I put "/board/#.
In gauge setting I wrote datasources["data"]["msg"]. Now all three topics are diplayed in the same guage and create.
I want to display received data in three gauges. How to do this with creating single data source?
Thank you for your help.
Hello, I have standalone freeboard on my server. It fails to connect with local mqtt broker Mosquitto. Broker is running mqtt protocol, not websockets. When I add datasource with all the correct credentials I get following in network inspection:
WebSocket connection to 'ws://192.168.0.1:1883/mqtt' failed: Error in connection establishment: net::ERR_CONNECTION_REFUSED
Connection failed: AMQJS0007E Socket error:undefined.
Any other mqtt client works fine.
When the connection to the server times out, or the MQTT server restarts, the plugin seems to lose its connection, closes the connection and never reconnects.
I am using the client and the plugin never connects.
i did some debugging with firebug and the message i get is
Paho is not defined
the script is stopped in firebug when it hits this line: var client = new Paho.MQTT.Client(currentSettings.server
any idea?
