What worked quickly was moving this definition to the top of the file (global):

const wordsToIgnore = ['of', 'for', 'the', 'or', 'and'];

And redefining line 60 (linked in the previous comment) as:

  return output.filter(d => d.length > 0 && !wordsToIgnore.includes(d));

After working through this again with Anthony, a correct fix would be to merely remove the following line.
