This appears to be a problem with Maltego. It should be escaping the # but instead it appears to be sending it through unescaped. Maltego uses # to delimit parameters. Have you tried updating the client by any chance?

Did the latest version of Maltego fix this issue? Also, I can't seem to reproduce the issue you're experiencing. From what I can tell, none of the link properties are being passed via the command line to the canari commander. Could you please provide some reproduction steps so that I can address the issue?

I can confirm this issue does not occur in Maltego 3.2.0 and Canari 1.0 :)
