Unfortunately transform properties are not supported in local transforms for Maltego. Canari tries to solve that problem by packaging a .conf file with the transform package. Take a look at your resources/etc directory under the source directory of your project. In there you can define a section and configuration parameter. This is what sploitego does when you add API keys for bluecoat et. al.
