Installation

1- Upload the contact-form-7-submission-limit folder to the /wp-content/plugins/ directory 2- Activate the plugin through the 'Plugins' menu in WordPress 3- The contact-form-7-submission-limit are in the Tools sidebar menu. 4- Click on the Add on the admin page to add new rule.

Note

This plugin requires two plugins contact-form-7 and CFDB please make sure that you have it on your site.

Description

This plugin will replace contact form 7 with any HTML code when the number of submissions goes above your limit.

• Select any form from a drop-down list.
• Enter your limit (if the number are above or equal the total number of submissions then the for will be hidden).
• Enter any HTML code that you want to replace the form with it.
• Click on update setting button.

Tips

• The status of your form will automatically show after you select the number of limits.
• If you want unlimited submission then you can remove the rule or just type -1 in the limit field.
• Not seeing your changes? Turn off your cache!

Where is data stored?

In an array in the wp_options table. Just one record regardless of the number of your rules.

Can't "add" a rule

At first, thanks for the Plugin. I really like what it should do.

Not sure if this is the right spot to ask for "support".
I installed the plugin and got CF7 as well as CFDB Plugin.

But when I try to press the "Add" Button for a new rule (limitation), nothing happens.
Neither I see a dropdown for choosing a Form.

If I hit the "Update Settings" Button it just says "options updated".

I've got WP 4.8 Version.

Problems loading plugin and viewing forms

Hello, I recently installed the plugin in my Wordpress and it worked correctly until I added 10 forms, from that amount the plugin page started to take a long time to load (more than 30 minutes I've been waiting). Another problem I have had is that I have configured a form with a limit of 20, only 4 entries have been sent and it has stopped being displayed.

What are the drawbacks?

Error 404 for cf7sl.functions.js

When I load the page wp-admin/tools.php?page=contact-form-7-submission-limit

In the console I get the error:

plugins/contact-form-7-submission-limit/js/cf7sl.functions.js?ver=5.2.3 404 (Not Found)

The plugin also replaces the searchform on the same page as the contactform 7 form. Is there a solution for that?

Gives a new update of this plugin?

Hello, it does not work for me. I use wordpress vers. 4.9, contact form 7 vers. 4.9.1 and CFDB 7 vers. 1.1.5.
it dont show the current total submission and it does no effect on the frontpage.
