Goal is to translate this to zeptoforth

Hardware ordered - it looks better suited to breadboarding than the Pimoroni unit because you can connect to the UART without an extra base

Current setup will be:

• Raspberry Pi Pico H - male headers and debug connector
• Pimoroni Pico Audio Pack
• Console TBD - command line on Raspberry Pi 32-bit OS preferred
• Optional:
  • Second Pico running picoprobe
  • Breadboard
  • Oscilloscope

This looks like an easy way to get Forth into the system. Once we have zForth we have a REPL and can write Forth code to build the rest of the system.

this would be nice to have - it would give us TinyUSB, for example, and the boot ROM floating point routines.

A blog seems slightly easier to maintain than a free-form website.

If it's fast enough, no need for a table

This would be a hacked-up version of the C/C++ and MicroPython demos from the Pimoroni Pico Audio pack https://shop.pimoroni.com/products/pico-audio-pack

We'll be using Quarto and RStudio for now, but it's not clear what the best path is going forward. Quarto works with VSCode, which is probably better for generic Forth work. A GitHub Pages website makes more sense than a book right now.

Prerequisite for slides

This is a hardware-intensive task. It involves procuring an audio PMOD module and connecting it to a Pico-Ice in a physical and electrically usable manner.
