uvu-watch

Watch mode for uvu test runner

• Plug n play (no setup required)
• Uses your local uvu but overwrites its command
• Runs your tests immediately, then watches your entire project
• Installs filespy on-demand to avoid slowing down CI
• Watchman support

 

Usage

• Install uvu and uvu-watch in your project

  yarn add uvu uvu-watch -D

• Run uvu through Yarn or another package manager

  yarn test -w
  # or
  yarn uvu tests -r esm -w

uvu-watch's Issues

Run tests that have changed since last run

By analyzing the module graph, we can know which modules are used by tests.

Once snapshot mode is added to Filespy, we can know which modules changed since the last test run.

pnpm install does not work

The node_modules/.bin/uvu entry point is not overwritten when PNPM is used.

As a workaround, you can replace uvu with uvu-watch in your npm test script.
