💬 Google Bard Assistant Obsidian

Bard assistant by Google to help you study and taking notes, and memorise materials easier! It's totally free unlike ChatGPT, and it can also shows images, and you are able to copy the responses to be moved into your notes!

Tips! You can show the Chat view from command, by pressing ⌘ and P and just type in Open Google Bard Assistant

Obtaining Authentication

1. Log in to your Google account, and visit Google Bard
2. Open the Web Inspector, and go to the "Network" tab.
3. Click open the first item on networks list or look for :authority: named bard.google.com or ogs.google.com.
4. Under request headers, look for Cookie and copy the whole content.

That's it! Now, put Google Bard Key in the Google Bard Assistant settings and you're all good!

[FR] Command to launch bard from command palette

By default I have hidden Ribbon, to enable Bard I needed to enable it - would be great to have a command to launch Bard in sidebar from command paletter

[FR] Send the current note to Bard and use it as the basis for the conversation.

For example, summarizing, asking questions, and revising the content of the current file, and so on.

Request failed status 429

Hi,
I I am trying to use this feature after installed and it is not working, I get "Request failed status 429", I followed the steps described,

Cant show images

Missing onError handler for invocation 'light.chatToBard:invocation[0]', error was 'TypeError: Cannot read properties of undefined (reading 'match')'. Stacktrace was 'TypeError: Cannot read properties of undefined (reading 'match') , please update the library version.

Can't Make New Conversation While Bard Is Loading

What needs to be improved?

• Better handling at error (especially when it failed at initialisation)
• Better User Interface and Experience at error handling
• Version Updater

The plugin works... Until Error: Could not use your cookie

Hi @Aldhanekaa , thank you for this great plugin.

I'm trying to use Bard in Obsidain, and it works well until i have this message.

It appears after a few minutes using your plugin.
Is there a way to note having it ?
Do that mean that i need to refresh all the time the PSID and the PSIDTS key or do you know if there is a way to bypass that problem ?
I'm sure i do not have reached the limite because i can directly use Bard on the Google chrome page.

We have noticed that the latest release of your plugin cannot be installed currently.

This is due to the release for version 1.1.1 not existing.

We will remove this plugin from the community plugin directory if this issue is not fixed within 30 days.
