Send test function

Actually this is a feature request. :)
It'd be possible to include a function just to test the mail send functionality?
Mine is not working and using ssmtp with the same conf it worked.

Mail Never Arrives

Hello,

I have awaymail set up, and when I receive a message while away I see:

AwayMail: Sent awaymail

in the irssi window, but I never get the email. What can I do to diagnose this?

AwayMail: Error:

08:06 awaymail_pass = Password
08:06 awaymail_port = 465
08:06 awaymail_server = smtp.gmail.com
08:06 awaymail_ssl = ON

08:06 awaymail_user = [email protected]

When I issue the test send command, I get:
08:11 >> AwayMail: Error:
08:11 >> AwayMail: Sent awaymail test email

The disturbing part is there is no error reason. I checked the firewall to see if things were blocked, no such luck. Interestingly enough This worked yesterday. I blew away the hard drive and started over now I can't get it to work. Any suggestions? The script I was using earlier was from 3 or 4 months ago.
