It sounds like perhaps you ran with recovery-thread-padding set to something other than 1 while your hack level and home ram are still too low. Check out the docs on this "The above alias is powerful when you are end-of-bn and your hacking skill is very high (8000+)".

You'll note that the "Errors" returned by my scripts are mostly designed to indicate that you've done something wrong. If my scripts themselves are failing, the error message you get will be different, (in-game pop-up in green, rather than a red error pasted to the terminal) - and the script will be killed outright.

The error about running out of RAM is a sign that your arguments are too aggressive for where you are in the game (you don't have sufficient RAM to do things). Until you're more familiar with the scripts and have unlocked more in-game features like Singularity functions and increased starting home RAM, you're best off leaving the scripts with their default settings (no command line arguments except perhaps --verbose) and reading some of their --tail logs to get a summary of what they're doing while they appear to be doing nothing.
