Use MO2 like flags and colors to show conflicts between edits on EditList.
Note, this does not inform the user of which lines are actually conflicting, only which Edits affect the same keys.

Needs #1 and #2 to be completed.

Complete the Merge structure model following the Project diagrams. Making sure merging purging and updating functions work properly.

This is precondition to automating merge calculation.

A system that would add tooltips to keys in the Edits containing description of the key function and possibly a range and type of values.
The metadata would be contained in a file with a syntax to determine and would be added to INIM by the user (for example dropping the file into a specific folder).
The definition files would have to be created by the community, but the end result is that INIM could become an ini editor with context information for virtually any Ini file as long as someone provides the definitions for it.

Things to do

Define what information we want.

Define how to show the information in the application.

Define the syntax for storing and sharing the definitions.

Define how to integrate the system in the code.

Allow users to see differences between their current Merge Result and the current Managed File. This is particularly useful in case other programs are modifying the Managed File so that the user can recognize the changes.

Define all operations which may cause merge result to be updated and consider how to best update the Merge Structure for in an optimized manner.

Needs #1 to be completed first.

Allow users to import a Diff as a new Edit. This should potentially be applicable to any diff, not just the one between Merge Result and Managed File.
Needs Diffs to have been figured out first.

Discuss with users to find a way to intuitively show which keys/lines are conflicting and how inside an edit.
Options could be to use a dedicated view in a new tab on the right or to use colors inside the text field.

Needs #1 #2 and probably #3 to be completed first.
