WebRTC with authentication from Firebase build on Ionic 2

Mobile Text, Audio and Video chat based on WebRTC, Firebase and Ionic 2

There is a simple mobile, audio and video chat application based on:

• WebRTC
• Angular Firebase 2
• Angular 2

to demonstrate how to combine them together inside the Ionic 2 project.

Note: This project is not under development!!!

Prerequisite

• Install latest Ionic 2 CLI

Start

Run following shell script to install NPM modules

npm i

Add Android or IOS platform to your project

ionic platform add ios android

Build project for specified platforms

ionic build

Explore project in your local web browser

ionic serve

how to upgrade the repo to latest ionic version?

hey akserg, great thanks with the repo. i want to make it run with the ionic rc0, but many thing change in the last update. any help please?

Is ok for ios?

I do it like this:
Install latest Ionic 2 CLI(npm install -g ionic@beta cordova)
sudo npm i
sudo ionic platform add ios
sudo ionic build ios
compile successed on xcode
run successed on iphone device

but webrtc failed，can you help me？

Made it work in browser but not in device

Hi Akserg, I took bits and pieces of your code and added it to my project for the webRTC video implementation using peerJS. It works great in browser but in a mobile device, it just shows the video block with a play button even after establishing connection, i am just able to hear the audio but not the video. Let me know if you have faced the same issue?
