After './bootstrap' and './configure' (the last one again after installing a missing dependency) 'make' exited with an error:

The bootstrap script tries to grab po files from https://translationproject.org/latest/a2ps/ , but that doesn't exist -- causing the bootstrap script to fail without having generated the configure script etc.
