In acme-fucks.cabal, you have:

exposed-modules: Data.Monoid.Fucks

The source file itself is found in just Fucks.hs (no containing directory within the stated hs-source-dirs).

The module header states that it is Acme.Fucks (which means it should really be in Acme/Fucks.hs, not just Fucks.hs).

This library is as stable as it gets.

This would disable creating Fucks values with n /= 0 (which clearly makes no sense).

The only way to create a Fucks value would be via mempty.

A more descriptive alias for mempty could be implemented, like giveNoFucks or similar.

What's wrong with this?

instance Monad Fucks where
   _ >>= _ = mempty

I also recommend that you not give a fuck about whether it works for older versions of GHC, so you shouldn't include a definition of return.
