You have an ENV variable called DEBUG_LEVEL for printing out debug information however no debugging occurs.

I noticed you're starting privoxy with --no-daemon. The documentation is not very clear but it think it might turn off logging. I've seen other mentions of the same. (Though I would expect it to foreground the app and print the debug info there.)

Hi, when I try the latest build of your docker image for privoxy and turn on debugging (level 16), I get this error repeatedly:

2023-09-04 05:08:57.800 7ff027c21b48 Fatal error: can't load re_filterfile '/etc/privoxy/default.filter': Invalid argument

When I look in the container /etc/privoxy/default.filter doesn't exit, but /etc/privoxy/default.filter.new does.
