Good idea! I have made a commit : da4fd9c
Basic regex for now... #comments are supported
Could be more complex with time, if need be.
Not yet fully tested but seems to be working ok for now..

.gitignore syntax is now supported.
Multiple tests have been conducted. Not tested extensively, but seems stable.
