cfund-discussion

A simple forum for the discussion of NavCoin Community Fund Proposals.
Users must register a staking NavCoin address in order to be able to comment.

Hosted at communityfund.nav.community.

Running the server

• Clone down the repo
• Create your own config.js (See config.js.sample)
• Run: npm i
• Launch mongodb
• The server can be run in Production Mode or Development Mode
  • To run in Production Mode, run npm run prod
  • To run in Development Mode, run npm run dev

Development Mode turns off reCaptcha.

Add proper proposal thread validation

At the moment we haven't finished the validation that checks if you are trying to view a valid proposal.
e.g. if I visit https://communityfund.nav.community/discussion/fakeproposalhash the validation should recognise that the proposal hash is not valid.

Improve votes count graph

Sometimes you could get heaps of comments listed, would be good to paginate this

Store filtering settings per user

Add some kind of spam protection to prevent password brute forcing

If someone can take over another person's account, especially a large holder or influential member, they could get up to all sorts of trouble.

Sometimes you could get heaps of proposals listed, would be good to paginate this

Show proposal events in the timeline of conversation

Events of proposals and its descendant payment requests like 'cycle 1 finished: count of votes', 'payment request created', etc should be shown in the timeline of the conversation
