Agoric Validator Pledge

A number of Agoric validators have pledged to meet the following requiremens:

1. Hardware requirements detailed in the Agoric Validator Runbooks

2. Uptime of at least 95%

3. Set a reasonable commission rate

4. Commit to not exceed 10% voting power

5. Actively participate in security and upgrade governance proposals

6. Commit to network contributions with at least one from each category:

Category 1: Infrastructure

• Run testnet node
• Run an RPC endpoint
• Run a Chainlink oracle node for Agoric
• Build a block explorer, validator dashboard, or other community tool

Category 2: Community Growth

• Write and deploy smart contract components
• Create educational content (articles, tutorials, videos) about building with Agoric smart contracts
• Present at an Agoric Twitter Space or related event on governance proposals, validator experiences and best practices, or provide other relevant community updates

Hello validators!

For the purpose of decentralization, we'd like to grant 1 BLD to folks who apply in good faith. We'd like to delegate this to a group of approximately 7 of the validators who are receiving BLD delegation from Agoric in return for a pledge of support of community growth activities.

We have a discord channel for coordination: #validator-1-bld.

We would like you to vet that the applicant

1. actually has a node running and
2. is distinct from everyone already running a validator.

Please use github reactions and/or comments to volunteer to serve in this capacity.

mis-directed delegation - Syd

@Syd-ai reports they're surprised not to be included in the 1st round of delegation:

They report that they got a message around 15 Feb notifying them that they were selected, and they submitted their pledge: #28

I think I see what happened... the address agoricvaloper1ahq8d70psln40fkwpghtq59yxq4l8vx9x0ap7p was duplicated. One of those delegations perhaps should have gone to
