You can also try to download the release version and have a local installation.

wget https://github.com/aertslab/cisTopic/archive/refs/tags/v2.1.0.tar.gz

and then

install.packages("/home/114/xz3123/v2.1.0.tar.gz", repos = NULL)

I'm trying to install cisTopic in a conda environment launching R 4.2.0 and typing:

> devtools::install_github("aertslab/cisTopic")
Error: Failed to install 'unknown package' from GitHub:
  Line starting 'NeedsCo ...' is malformed!

But I keep getting this error. What could it be?
