Many of the other adobe source code fonts (source-code-pro, source-sans-pro, source-serif-pro) have a release branch which contains the pre-built fonts, which makes it easier to consume changes as it does not require you to have the AFDKO installed.

shortcodes.fea should probably reference @iamcal’s emoji-data repository directly instead of Unicodey’s table which is build upon it.

I would like to use some of the emojis from this version for a project.
How can I get information about the licence?
Can I use this font for print and digital?

Version: 1.017 Release

First alpha release of Source Emoji project contains sources for one black & white font with incomplete emoji support with much provisional artwork. The main current benefit is that it supports the complete Unicode 9.0 emoji set.
