android-screen-monitor's Issues

ASM 2.5 OK / ASM 3.0 not OK

I setup SDK, ASM, and all PATH variables.

I can get ASM2.5 to work - I can select the connected device and view the screen on the PC.

ASM3.0 seems to work - I can select the device, but the screen stays black.

What might cause this issue? What settings can I check?

Windows 7
Java 7
ADT v22.3.0-887826
Samsung GT-P3113 - 7 inch tablet, Android 4.2.2.

[Feature Request]

First of all hats off for this nice work!!
Can you please add option to connect to device over WiFi.
I have done adb tcpip 5555, now all needed for perfection is option to view over WiFi. As while connected to USB, the touches are not accurate and keep getting clicked on random places. And it would be even cool, if image is resized at source for speeding up the mirroring.
Thanks a lot!

run asm.jar from cmd

Hi guys,

Im trying run from cmd the asm.jar with the netx command "java -jar asm.jar" and after show me a window with the name device, I want select automatic the devices but I can not . Does the selection only work manually?

Modifier keys type question marks

The big modifier here that causes annoyance is Shift

  • Ctrl
  • Alt
  • Win / Meta
  • Shift

Non-modifier keys that produce question marks (but that aren't important to fix)

  • Menu
  • Caps Lock
  • Num Lock
  • Scroll Lock
  • Home
  • End
  • Page Up
  • Page Down
  • Insert
  • F1 - F9

Change zoom to more specific levels.

For example, some resolutions might fit best on a laptop screen on 30 or 40%.
Maybe a slider or a small textfield to enter the zoom?

Love your program btw.
