Add the various Open ID sign in/ sign up methods

Functionality

• Users should have the ability to sign in/ Sign up using their social network accounts like facebook. twitter, google etc
• I will suggest we use a standard laravel package to implement this feature

Create WYSIWYG editor for news gists and Assignments

• This editor should be present when modifying or adding new gists and assignments.
• It should be available only to the ADMN

Create provision for specialty after

When selection timetables, GPA calculators, Assignments, Course outlines, there should be an option to chose specialty if you are in level 400 or in level 500

Change column name in the Database

Migration

• Rename the gist_uri column of the gists table in the database to uri

Modify Time Table (Design and functionality)

Design

• It should have the look and feel of google calender (Screenshot) or even something better
• Each time there is a class and the user visits the calender, There should be a flash message indicating to the user that he/she has a class at that time

Functionality

• Ability to edit calender entries in the frontend
• More flexibility in the way the calender is generated with javascript so as to give it the ability to display classes which have variable times Only classes with 2 hours duration can be represented at the moment
• Add the ability to export the calender into a format which can easily be imported into other applications like google play or lightening calender
• Add a feature to send people their weekly calender by email and also send them notifications when a class is added or rescheduled.

Add groups functionality

Functionality

• Users should be able to join/create Groups

Create a landing page (Design and functionality)

Design

• Be createive!! The page should include a picture anyways
• The page should contain a complete information of what the site is about.

Functionality

• Presently, the home page URL of the site redirects to the gist/ route. We should have a landing page at the root URL (/)

Refactor backend to REST API

Controller

• The response to user requests should be passed to the view in JSON format
• Also form submissions should use the JSON API

View

• A javascript library like angular JS should be used to generate the course outline

Redirect to home page when the user logs out from an Auth filtered route page.

Controller

• When the user loges out from a page, It should check if there is a route to the intended page. If not, The user should be redirected to the Gist page.

Add Tests

Add Tests for all the various sections of the project.

Create a module for Assignments (Design and functionality)

Design

• The design of the assignments page should be the similar to that of the gist page.

Functionality

• Assignments should be visible only to logged in users.
• The assignments which are showed should be subjective to a particular user ie assignments should be shown only if the particular user is taking the course on which the assignment has been given
• The admin should be able to create and delete assignments

Redirect to new gist after creating or updating a gist

Controller

The user should be redirected to the URI of the new or updated gist article when a gist is created or updated
