My RE (reservoir engineering) Python code
Estimation of gas reserve is one of the challenging jobs for oil and gas operators. Decline curve analysis is method to estimate reserves from the production forecast, though it is a result dependent on economic considerations and give insights of recoverable reserves. The gas reserve also can be predicted from volumetric analysis with the help of parameters obtained from well logging data. In this project Machine learning algorithm is applied both on decline curve and well logging data to obtain gas reserves. This study will emerge as way to reduce human efforts and increase accuracy in reserves estimation.
