Logging clarification requesting

I want both traces and logs to be sent to GCP for collection. I understand that this crate sends traces to GCP. Do I need to also setup tracing-stackdriver to send logs to GCP or does this crate handle both traces and logs?

Running Example Doesn't Work: there is no reactor running

If you run the example as described in the README, you get the following error:

thread 'opentelemetry-exporter' panicked at 'there is no reactor running, must be called from the context of a Tokio 1.x runtime', /home/wspeirs/.cargo/registry/src/index.crates.io-6f17d22bba15001f/hyper-0.14.27/src/client/connect/dns.rs:121:24

open-telemetry Dependency Update

Need update to support latest open telemetry so that we can upgrade the rest of our project to use the latest open telemetry.
