It might be interesting to convert the project to use ESP32 S3, which has built in WiFi.
ESP32 S3 also has built in BLE, but "low power" might be of lower priority because:

1. ESP32 S3 at full speed is power hungry, so is also the GPS module.
2. A Bosch LSU O2 / Lambda sensor (if you use it) i very power hungry.

BLE is more interesting for temperature sensors, knock sensors, and ignition probes together with a low-power microcontroller.
...maybe they could even be energy harvesting -- not requiring external charging.

RaceTemp is lacking an easy way of configuration.
E.g. how to select the number of magnet strips on a racetrack?
Currently only a hypothetical problem (as my magnet strip pickup does not work), but: one could add switches or jumpers for this -- or one could make a phone app for it, or some there could be a config. file.

"USB device" is enabled but not yet used in this project. One could make a file system accessible via the USB.
That file system could hold a config.json file, or maybe something else....
