Because Money fields depend on a secondary field to define its value characteristics, the JGE does not contain sufficient functionality to support it. Further examination of the field's scripts and interaction with traditional CRM forms is required.
The Grid Editor fails to operate on special child entities like the Quote Product, Order Product, and Invoice Product, because these entities do not have their own "statecode" attribute, but instead rely on their parent-record's "statecode" attribute.
When deselecting a record (or several) in Edit Mode, a prompt to abort the deselection should present the user with the option of preserving changes they have made to records. Ideally, the prompt would indicate which records will lose their changes.
Without an appropriate error message, an unimplemented language in the script will simply cause it to do nothing. Without any indication that something is wrong, or that additional configuration is required, a user is lost on what to do.
I setup the grid editor on dev environment and everything worked fine. I then set it up on UAT but it only works when logged into the server. Users connecting from their own machines get no response after clicking on the 'Edit' button. I've checked as many Internet options as I can, no javascript errors are shown, being an admin or normal user makes no difference and there's nothing in the event log.
This isn't by design, it's a side effect of how I construct the input field's HTML. The tabbing
behavior was intended to be ironed out before release, but wasn't. Expect a fix soon.
