A Government font and CSS toolkit, inspired by Font-Awesome.

Gov Icons is a icon font and CSS toolkit with 136 government themed icons, for easy scalable vector graphics on projects that needs government based icons. Gov Icons is created and maintained by 540.

Getting started

Quick Start CDN

Load and insert from CDN link.

Usage

Download and place the entire govicons directory into your project
In the <head> of your html, reference the location to your govicons.min.css

change name to be more specific.

You have a radioactive and bio-hazard icon but not a poison one which kinda fits into the list... (scull or scull with crossbones)

Nice to have different variations of scopes or crosshairs

I am thinking it would be useful to have two versions of the usa flag. One where it is curvy and another where it is just straight. I am using the 18F Web Design Standards and they use a straight flag for the usa-disclaimer and in the usa-banner... view source on their website to see what I am talking about.

I would also like to have a straight flag for general use in all of my applications. 🇺🇸 !!!

Icon Requests: gi-construction, gi-barricade, gi-road (Construction and Road Projects)

Can you please create construction, barricade, and road icons?

Many local and state governments do a number of construction projects and currently the major icon offerings do not include anything very good for these items.

Construction and barricade icons could be used to signify a page/section that is under construction, construction taking place, or to signify a government project.

Road icons could be used to signify the DOT, road projects, etc.
