I did a random search to determine whether anyone had done an Android home screen fortune system, and found your software.
Would there be some way you would recommend to publish the updates to my fortunes as Android-accessible?
Currently it supports ANSI color which amounts to "Pithy bit. Actual fortune. - Author B. Culpable" in most cases. I am sure I could write a format conversion tool without issue.

instead, on first run unzip them to /sdcard/fortunes . User will choose fortunes to remain.
I want to view fortunes I have saved on my device.
The ability to scroll would be great as it's difficult to read fortunes from the widget... even if it's expanded quite large.

Hello, on F-droid I see the app supports Android 4.1+.
Just a heads up that Android >= 14 refuses to install apps with minimum target SDK < Android 6, per Google's docs. Android 15 is expected to highen the requirement to Android 7 and to stop accepting --bypass-low-target-sdk-block.
